The History
Pipit Hill is a beautifully secluded 100 acre property, that has been part of a larger family farm which was settled in 1866.
Previously owned by the Clarke family, this parcel of land became part of the Macmillan family farm over 70 years ago.
It has been casually referred to as 'Pipit Hill' by the family who have lived on the property for nearly 50 years. This was due to the playful nature of these birds (Pipits), often seen hopping along the driveway and heard singing in the sky over the peaceful paddocks.
At 'Pipit Hill' the use of recycled materials such as tin and timber, ensures we remain as sustainable as possible. Our water troughs are gravity fed from our dam, which in conjunction with the use of solar panels and batteries make us completely 'off the grid', and environmentally friendly. Around Pipit Hill, you will notice certain features have been retained, reminding our clients & visitors of the heritage and originality of the property.
